This is just brilliant - a book written by a reading expert designed to appeal and explain in a clear and engaging way just how and why your brain works differently to everyone else's! With fantastic illustrations by 'The Boy Fitz Hammond' it is colourful and clear, with chapters dedicated to explanations of how your brain works and scientific diagrams, through to mindfulness activities to promote wellbeing.
This would be a great addition to a class/school library for adults and pupils alike in any setting, to aid understanding and awareness and give an accessible way of introducing the idea of neurodiversity and opening up discussion around it.
Double page spreads are clear and colourful, with diagrams using scientific terms thoughtfully explained in more detail in their own sections, too.
